August 12: Meet an author

Join Texas Literary Hall of Fame member and author Jeff Guinn as he discusses his book “The Last Gunfight: The Real Story of the Shootout at the OK Corral—and How It Changed the American West” at the Public Library of Colleyville. August 13, 20, 27: Adopt a four-legged friend

PetSmart Southlake will be hosting adoptions every Saturday in August with Lost Paws Rescue of Texas. Lost Paws Rescue of Texas is a 501(c)(3) volunteer charity that rescues abandoned dogs and cats in hopes of finding them forever homes. August 13: Go outside for this open house

Learn about local wildlife, hear about the Jones family history, and chat with staff about the various trails and programs available at the Bob Jones Nature Center & Preserve Open House.
