Inspirational coach and speaker Anne Reid will be featured on Close Up Radio

BEDFORD, NEW YORK, USA, August 9, 2022 / — Anne Reid is a dynamic personal development coach and keynote speaker who has always been willing to think outside the box for a new challenge. It all started when she was in college, when she traveled alone in Europe and ventured on a road trip across the country after graduation with her roommate – n’ carrying nothing but a tent, a road atlas and an insatiable curiosity about the world around him. . Anne always consciously chooses to do something slightly outside of her comfort zone on a daily basis. She describes this process of seeking out and accepting discomfort as providing opportunities for self-discovery and personal growth. Such practices help set the tone for Anne’s life and contributed to her decision to become a full-time coach.

There was another element to her decision, a personal experience that made Anne realize the value of the coaching relationship. That’s when this outdoor enthusiast who had never hiked or cycled more than 10 miles in a single day decided to take part in a 100-mile cycling event.

“It taught me what it’s like to break down a big journey into small steps. Get up every day and work towards a goal. And how comforting it is to have someone there to mentor and guide you – as well as bother you when you don’t achieve the goal you set for yourself.

These are coaching principles that Anne uses with her own clients and she stresses that meeting goals is an important part of the relationship. Anne thinks it’s also important to help clients identify the resources they’ll need for their trip, whether it’s additional funding, equipment, specialized training or just mental toughness.

Prior to becoming an increasingly popular coach and speaker and workshop leader, Anne spent many years working her way up the finance industry, dealing with securities sales and real estate projects. When her daughters reached a certain age in the early 2000s, Anne wanted to be more flexible, more available and do something that felt more like a vocation than a job. She therefore followed her first training as a coach. The rest is history, a history that is learned on the website, in personal interviews shot this year and on his upcoming radio show.

Anne is about to talk about her professional accomplishments as well as her love of reading, travel, pets and nature. She is an intellectually curious person and infuses everything she does with optimism and humor. An ongoing project includes the early stages of a book she is writing about being happier in spite of one’s life (since Anne believes that happiness and gratitude are essential for the true measure of success).

Close up Radio will feature coach and speaker Anne Reid in interviews at noon EDT with Jim Masters on Thursday, August 11 and Doug Llewelyn on Thursday, August 25
