Fort Campbell updates list of bars, motels and businesses off-limits to soldiers

CLARKSVILLE, TN (NOW CLARKSVILLE) – Fort Campbell’s most recent banned list of establishments includes 20 Clarksville establishments, from bars and motels to auto repair shops.

As of August 1, the following items are declared prohibited for military personnel, according to information from Fort Campbell.

Establishments

In Clarksville:

  • Darnell Mobile Home Park, 290 Darnell Street.
  • Church Yard Apartments, 207 Church Yard.
  • Lester’s Automobile, Lester Barnes, 2301 Green Acres Drive.
  • Blue Sky Estates, 920 Power St.
  • Live Oaks Village Mobile Home Park, 708 Providence Boulevard (New Providence Mobile Home Park / Shady Rest Mobile Home Park).
  • Ringgold Creek (no swimming only), Fort Campbell Boulevard/41A.
  • Laptoyz/Britlee/MilitaryZone.Com (Or operated in Governor’s Square Mall or any other location in the State of Tennessee).
  • Prewitt Mobile Home Park, 2424 Whitfield Road.
  • Atlas Transmission, 113 Hornberger Lane (also known as: Performance Transmission, American Transmission Center, Gateway Transmission Center, Budget, Budget Automobile, Budget Transmission Center, All Pro Transmission Center, American Transmission Center, American Discount Transmission, Gateway, Clarksville Transmission Center, Cottman Transmission, Tranzmaster Transmission, AAMCO and ACG Transmission or any future auto repair shops owned or operated by Josh or Joe Chisenhall).
  • Let Freedom Reign, or any solicitation business operated by Bob Gaskins.

  • Any business owned or operated by Amber Warford.
  • Superior Carpentry or any business owned or operated by William Coffee. (NEW)

In Oak Grove, Kentucky:

  • Kingsdale Trailer Park, Banks Road, Christian County, Kentucky.
  • Shady Oaks (formerly known as Brayboys), 554 Thompsonville Lane.
  • Carter Mobile Home Park, 9351 Pembroke Oak Grove Road.
  • Adult Toy Box and Great Tobacco Shop (Toy Box and Stuff) 15708-D Fort Campbell Blvd.
  • Let Freedom Reign, or any solicitation business operated by Bob Gaskins.
  • Any current or future business owned, operated or having an ownership interest in Mr. Basel Ghalayin.

In Hopkinsville, Kentucky:

  • Performance Transmission, 602 S. Virginia Street (also known as: American Transmission Center, Gateway Transmission Center, Budget, Budget Automobile, Budget Transmission Center, All Pro Transmission Center, American Transmission Center, American Discount Transmission, Gateway, Clarksville Transmission Center, Cottman Transmission, Tranzmaster Transmission, AAMCO and ACG Transmission), or any future automotive repair shops owned and/or operated by Joe or Josh Chisenhall.
  • Let Freedom Reign, or any solicitation business operated by Bob Gaskins.

In Nashville:

  • Department of Military Housing and any business operated by Mr. Thomas E. Bowen, wherever located.

Areas

  • All bodies of water and waterways in Fort Campbell are closed to unauthorized water sports and activities.
  • All rock quarries, both active and abandoned, in Kentucky and Tennessee are prohibited for all purposes. The only exceptions to this prohibition are:
    • Cerulean Spring Quarry, Cadiz, Kentucky can only be used for scuba diving during open hours.
    • Martha’s Quarry, located east of Lebanon, Tennessee, can only be used by certified divers and dive students accompanied by a certified instructor. Due to the high cliffs, recreational use without diving is not permitted.
    • Cowan Quarry, located south of Cowan, Tennessee, and can only be used by certified divers and dive students accompanied by a certified instructor. Due to the high cliffs, recreational use without diving is not permitted.
    • Hopkinsville Diving Quarry, located off Exit 9, off Pennyrile Parkway and 680. Non-diving recreational use is not permitted.

According to Fort Campbell, military personnel observed at prohibited establishments violate a general lawful order and may be apprehended for violation of Section 92 of the UCMJ.

This Prohibited List replaces the Prohibited Establishments Memorandum dated September 2, 2021. If a name or owner has changed, the address remains prohibited.

Off-limits establishments are prohibited from advertising on Fort Campbell.
